Lumary AH - How to clone an existing allied health appointment so you can quickly create similar appointments without re-entering details.

Creating appointments just got a whole lot easier. You can now clone an appointment from an existing booked appointment so you don't have to re-enter recurring details each time.
What's New
- Clone Appointment — create a new appointment prefilled with the same details as the current appointment.
- End Series and Clone Appointment — end or remove future appointments from a series and replace them with a cloned appointment or cloned appointment series.
Key capabilities
- Clone single appointments quickly from the appointment page.
- Choose to end remaining appointments in a series and create a new appointment/series using the cloned details.
- Option to remove a specific number of future appointments from a series and replace them with a new cloned series.
Clone Appointment
This option allows you to create a clone of the current appointment.
- Locate the Clone Appointment button on the appointment page and click it.
- The New Appointment wizard will open, repopulated with all the same information as the current appointment, except:
- Recurrence information (if any)
- Assets are not copied
- Make any changes required in the wizard, then click Save or Save and Roster to create the new appointment.
End Series and Clone appointment
This option allows you to either:
- End the remaining appointments in the current series and create a new appointment or appointment series based on the current appointment, or
- Delete a specified number of upcoming appointments in the current series and replace them with a new appointment series cloned from the current appointment's details.
- Click End Series and Clone appointment on the appointment page (this button appears only for appointments that are part of a series).
- Choose whether to:
- End remaining appointments and create new — ends all future appointments in the series after the current appointment, and opens the New Appointment wizard prefilled from the current appointment so you can create a new appointment or series.
- Remove Next [x] Appointments and replace — prompts you to enter the number of future appointments to remove from the series, then deletes that many upcoming appointments (does not delete the current appointment). After the removals, the New Appointment wizard opens prefilled from the current appointment so you can create a replacement appointment or new series.
- Complete any edits in the New Appointment wizard and click Save or Save and Roster.
Notes
- When removing future appointments, the deletion will start with the appointment immediately after the one you are currently actioning — the current appointment is retained.
- Assets (e.g. vehicles, equipment) are not copied into the cloned appointment — re-add if required.
- The system will attempt to roster the cloned appointment if you choose Save and Roster, and will surface any conflicts for you to review.
💡 Tip: Use Remove Next [x] Appointments when you need to make a therapy block or other temporary change within a longer blocked series without losing the remainder of that clinician's roster.
